Election Day

Today, our students got one of their first tastes of democracy.

Our candidates this year were Curious George and Grover. Curious George ran on a promise to give the students a pancake party if he wins. Grover, on the other hand, promised an ice cream party.

The Pre-K class made political posters to spread the word about our candidates.

Some of us even dressed for the occasion!

Finally, we got to cast our ballots!

Then, the Pre-K class sorted and counted all the ballots. We have a winner! Looks like an ice cream party for everyone!
